The faceted gems have been around for a while now, but I always thought they looked a bit small on their own in the middle of the Large Daisy. Enter... the gold pearls! I think a ring of these makes the centre of the daisy just the right size, nicely in proportion to the flower itself, and adds a bit of interest and dimension too.
These were made into sympathy cards, and I was pleased with how the frame turned out with the subtle stamping of the frond from the Daisy Lane set. And I love these stitched dies - I'm using them for everything at the moment!

Butterfly Rainbow
The last of the thank you cards for now, this one using the Butterfly Gala bundle, and featuring no less than 25 different colours on the butterflies! The background is splattered with Wink of Stella, which I think gives it a lovely bit of sparkle.
I do love a rainbow, and at my recent Butterfly Gala class this was probably the most popular card, despite it not actually being one of the ones we were going to make! But, being adaptable to all eventualities I think we pulled it off 😄

Bee Thankful
Another thank you card, again using the Blends. I love this little bee, and was really chuffed he was carrying over to the new catalogue. Sometimes it's nice to make a statement with one big stamp, and I think this little guy does just that.
This is the first time I've teamed him with leaves, which are from the Verdant Garden Stamp Set. Add a few flower embellishments (these are retired, but the Frosted Flower embellishments would work just as well) and voila!

Thank You Season
It's been a busy old time since I got out of hospital! It's only been five weeks, but I seem to be pretty much back to normal, albeit a bit more shattered come the end of the day.
I've had to prioritise, but honestly, clean houses are overrated. One thing I haven't been able to ignore is the end of the summer term, and the vast quantity of Thank You cards that the Cub has required. Pinning him down to do much of it himself is tricky, so I made the cards, and he wrote them.
I love colouring, even though I've never been very good at it, but I'm almost convinced now that I might pass for "reasonable". It's always good to have a little cheat up your sleeve, and the Stampin'Blends are just that!

RAAAAWR!
The Dinoroar Suite is one of those bundles that I have just found so easy to use. A C6 card blank, a strip of DSP, a two-step stamped panel with greeting, and some random stamping of ferns on the other side of the card... it's almost too easy. In fact, it was so easy that I ended up with 12 cards when I'd only intended to make four!
A little tip with the dinos - or any animal stamp really - colour in the eyes with a black or other very dark pen. It really brings them to life. Rawr!
